As an employer you are by now aware of the Government’s new return to work protocol document.
In order to safely reopen your place of work and to comply with legislation you must now ensure the following as a minimum:
Nominate at least one workplace rep charged with ensuring measures are strictly adhered to
Have a Covid 19 response management team
Provide all staff with a form at least three days before they return making enquiries relating to Covid 19
Provide all staff with Covid 19 induction training
Develop/update your Covid 19 Response Plan
Update your sick pay policies to include the Covid 19 payment plan
Have first aiders provided with additional training on infection prevention
Have safety representative updated on Covid 19
Put up signage
Provide appropriate PPE
Ensure cleaning standards apply with basic ecdc.europa standards
Provide information on mental health
Provide proper training information on handwashing and physical distancing
