CORONAVIRUS COVID-19
POLICY FOR PERSON OF CLOSE CONTACT OR WITH SYMPTOMS

As a company ******** Ltd is fully committed to providing a safe working environment to all its employees and visitors who may be at risk of infection,
or of spreading Coronavirus Covid-19 infection, especially if their role brings them into contact with other people. If any employees within the company are confirmed as a
household or non household close contact. They must:

• Immediately notify the manager, supervisor or the covid representative by phone if they are in work or not in work and provide a copy of notification
from the Health Service Executive (HSE) to their manager as soon as possible.
• If they are in work, then they must immediately bring themselves to the isolation room until there is further clarification.
• Notify their manager of the required days they must self isolate in accordance with their Coronavirus Covid-19 vaccination status or if they have had a positive
PCR test in the previous 3 months and complete the required Antigen tests in accordance with their status.
• If they develop symptoms after a confirmed close contact, they must again proceed to get a PCR test and notify their manager of their updated status.
They must provide details of any close contacts they had within the company the previous they day they developed symptoms or 48 hours prior to developing symptoms.
The HSE will also ask you to conduct a list of close contacts.
• Continue to restrict their movements or self isolate and complete the required Antigen tests in accordance with their vaccination status or if they have had a positive
PCR test in the previous 3 months for the required days.
• Notify their manager of their return to work date after completing the required mandatory self isolation or restricted movement period and complete the company return
to work form.
• Any absence due to covid will be unpaid. However, you may be entitled to receive the COVID-19 enhanced Illness Benefit. The Company will also not cover the costs for antigen
and PCR tests. However, in exceptional circumstances the Company at its discretion may cover these costs.

If any employees within the company are notified as a confirmed close contact while at work by he HSE or develops symptoms of .

• Fever (high temperature above 38 degrees Celsius or above) including having chills.
• Dry Cough
• Fatigue (tiredness)
• Loss or change in sense of taste or smell

Employees must also:

• Notify their manager at a safe distance and proceed to the isolation area of the premises.
• After notifying their manager or supervisor return home avoiding public transport or to a medical practitioner if (if very unwell) and proceed to
get a PCR test as required. Assistance with making arrangements will done if required.
• Notify as best as possible if their PCR or Antigen test is positive any face to face contacts, they had within the company the day they developed symptoms or over the previous
24 hours prior to developing symptoms

• Continue to restrict their movements or self isolate and complete the required Antigen tests in accordance with their vaccination status or if they have had a positive P
CR test in the previous 3 months for the required days.
• Notify their manager of their return to work date after completing the required mandatory self isolation or restricted movement period and complete the company return to work form.
• Under no circumstances will the Company tolerate information being spread throughout the Company or any circulation of information around one health. Rumours and false information
can easily be passed in this way and can have a negative effect throughout. Any updates around Covid 19 will be made by the Covid Rep or management. You may be subject to
disciplinary action if there is a breach of this policy.
