Aim:
This course outlines the roles and duties of the Fire Warden and gives the attendees an understanding of what causes fire, how fire is sustained, how to prevent fire and what to do in the event of a fire.
Course Objectives:
On completion of this course the trainee will be able to
- Identify Fire Hazards
- Safe evacuation of people from the building
- Know how to extinguish a fire based on what is sustaining the fire
- Safe selection and use of a fire extinguisher
Certification:
On completion of the course the trainee will receive a Fire Warden Certificate valid for 2 years
